:You're looking into this a bit too much. :P 04.11.08 is the X-Gold 618's baseband, and I don't think it's cost-effective for Qualcomm to reverse-engineer Infineon's X-Gold 618 so the MDM6610 uses the same firmware. ;) --[[User:Dialexio|Dialexio]] 15:48, 13 October 2011 (MDT)

GSM and CDMA

As mentioned by somebody, both GSM and CDMA are on the same chip, so this would mean this chip has internally two chips and two baseband versions. If this is true, how should we integrate this information? The GSM baseband version would be 04.11.08 as far as I know (that page also needs an update then). -- http 15:14, 13 October 2011 (MDT)

You're looking into this a bit too much. :P 04.11.08 is the X-Gold 618's baseband, and I don't think it's cost-effective for Qualcomm to reverse-engineer Infineon's X-Gold 618 so the MDM6610 uses the same firmware. ;) --Dialexio 15:48, 13 October 2011 (MDT)
