Seeing how there three (notably) different variants of the iPad 2, the pages will probably accumulate fragmentation. To avoid this, I'm proposing that all common information (i.e.- A5 processor, BCM4329) should be on this page, and any differences should be noted on their respective pages (i.e.- the GSM model's page mentions the X-Gold 618). Alternatively, we could split the information into templates, so one edit can change all three pages at once. What are your thoughts on how to combat this? --Dialexio 18:17, 4 April 2011 (UTC)

:Actually I like the idea of having a template, but we need this page anyway, so I think it's better to just separate the information instead of adding another (template) page; meaning we should just list the GSM specific parts on the GSM page etc. and all common things here. --http 07:31, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

Fragmentation

Seeing how there three (notably) different variants of the iPad 2, the pages will probably accumulate fragmentation. To avoid this, I'm proposing that all common information (i.e.- A5 processor, BCM4329) should be on this page, and any differences should be noted on their respective pages (i.e.- the GSM model's page mentions the X-Gold 618). Alternatively, we could split the information into templates, so one edit can change all three pages at once. What are your thoughts on how to combat this? --Dialexio 18:17, 4 April 2011 (UTC)

Actually I like the idea of having a template, but we need this page anyway, so I think it's better to just separate the information instead of adding another (template) page; meaning we should just list the GSM specific parts on the GSM page etc. and all common things here. --http 07:31, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
