The baseband is some sort of Qualcomm based chip. The shipping firmware contains a zip archive named Phoenix-1.0.05. Inside is amss.mbn , dbl.mbn , ENPRG.hex , ENPRG.mbn , osbl.mbn , partition.mbn , release_info.txt . When one googles these names, you'll see they are firmware for a qualcomm chip.--Iemit737 04:19, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
