Deletion Request

What is this Pastebin data? If that's proprietary Apple code, then we shouldn't even link to it. And if we remove the link, nothing remains on the page and it can be deleted. But if it's useful data or public code there, we should copy it over onto the page. So what is that? --http (talk) 22:11, 30 January 2013 (UTC)

No idea but its a file in the IPSW. --iAdam1n (talk) 13:11, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Is the file binary data and that's a hex dump, or is that hex dump the actual file? --5urd (talk) 20:40, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
I really have no idea what it is beyond something in the filesystem. Based on its name, I'm speculating that the Pastebin data is a hex dump. The only way to tell what this is really is to ask Liam, but he's long gone. He hasn't tweeted anything in over a year. I've tried emailing him what these were with the "Email this user" link, but he never responded. --5urd (talk) 20:40, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
We should delete it as it is just hex, which can be grabber from its file if ever needed. --iAdam1n (talk) 23:37, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
I still would like to know if the file itself is a hex dump or if this is a hex dump of the file. It looks like a patch file due to the @XXXX lines, but I'm not sure. I've added it here in case PasteBin decides to remove the file or something. Even if we end up deleting the page, it will still be visible to admins only in case we find out what it is and want to restore it. I'll do the other two just in case. --5urd (talk) 20:09, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
