PurpleRegister appears to allow Apple employees to "register" individual devices. It provides basic functionality for viewing device information (and exporting via CSV), refreshing connected devices, and "registration". A "Pair Devices" button is present but its use is unknown. Registration is handled through OpenDirectory, which requires a valid username and password.
