JailbreakMe 4.0 is a semi-untethered jailbreak for 32-bit devices running iOS 9.1 - 9.3.4, created by tihmstar, released on December 12, 2017. The jailbreak runs entirely in Safari, using the same exploits as Home Depot.

JailbreakMe 4.0 was created by tihmstar as a "fun project" to provide nostalgia to user's of the original JailbreakMe. The jailbreak is hosted at jailbreak.me. Whilst technically semi-untethered, the jailbreak can be made fully untethered with the use of tihmstar's UntetherHomeDepot package.

Interestingly, the domain name, jailbreak.me, is owned by Chris Wade (@cmwdotme), who allowed tihmstar to use it for the jailbreak.[1]
