The Apple Watch Series 7 was first introduced at Apple's "California Streaming" keynote on 14 September 2021. Internally, the Apple Watch Series 7 is referred to as N187sAP (Watch6,6 - 41mm), N187bAP (Watch6,7 - 45mm), N188sAP (Watch6,8 - 41mm Cellular) or N188bAP (Watch6,9 - 45mm Cellular).

Application Processor

The Apple Watch Series 7 uses the same T8301 SoC as it's predecessor, but rebranded as the Apple S7.

On the Cellular models, it also continues to use the same Intel PMB9955 LTE Modem as the Apple Watch Series Apple Watch Series 4, Apple Watch Series 5, Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 6.
