A program created by iH8sn0w, that is used for S5L8900 devices, which include:

• iPhone 2G
• iPhone 3G
• iPod touch 1G

What is iREB?

iREB is a GUI application that uses iDevice and dfu-util. It uploads 3 pwned files, so that iTunes can accept custom IPSW firmware/downgrade to lower firmwares.

iREB does NOT jailbreak, it just disables iTunes's ability to upload a patch to the ramdisk to block custom firmware made by PwnageTool.
