The MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) was introduced at Apple's 'One More Thing' event on 10 November 2020, and is one of the first Macs to feature Apple Silicon as part of the transition from x86_64-based Intel processors.

It was made available for preorder on 10 November 2020, and for purchase on 17 November 2020.

The firmware identifier is MacBookPro17,1.
