I'm employed as a professional software developer. My first machine code experience was on a Commodore 64 (6510 processor) in the early 80s I think. Later Motorola 68000 (AMIGA 2000), Intel 80186 and SATURN (on the HP48SX calculator, I reverse engineered the whole operating system, that was 1992).

In the last ten years I'm not programming assembler anymore (only C/C++, JavaScript, .NET, etc.), but I know the basics of the new technology as well (memory protection by the processor etc.). I do not know ARM assembly or objective C yet, but both seem quite simple. I just didn't find the time to learn it yet.

I support some users through the page http://www.jbfaq.com.

I have several iOS devices and also a MBP for iPhone development.
