How exactly do you go about applying this patch?
hex editor
use a hex editor, look for the offset of the MVN, and patch the bytes that I commented. really this is just for those that are interested in how the patch works. the patched binary is actually all over the internet right now, that is one of the reasons why there is no use hiding it from here :P
