The S8000 is one of the Apple A9-branded processors used in the iPad (5th generation), iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone SE. It contains a 64-bit Apple-designed CPU, and is manufactured by Samsung Electronics. The part number listed on the SoC is APL0898.
