This is the 4th generation iPod touch. It was announced on September 1st, 2010.

Application Processor

It makes use of the S5L8930 application processor.

Wireless

The iPod touch 4G uses the BCM4329 for Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1.
