MerlotLCD is a command line application located in /usr/local/bin on some SwitchBoard builds. Its purpose is to run parity tests on a device's display unit, however there are no known scripts or tests that utilize it. It was first spotted on HoodooYabuli 9B3176n. Strangely, it comes in an app bundle (.app) rather than just its standalone executable which is located inside.

When run with the parameter -h, it returns usage information.
