MacBook Pro (16-inch, M1, 2021)

The MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021) was introduced at Apple's 'Unleashed' event on 18 October 2021.

It is the first MacBook Pro (16-inch) to feature Apple Silicon as part of the transition from x86_64-based Intel processors.
It was made available for preorder on the 18 October 2021, and for purchase on the 26 October 2021.

The firmware identifiers are MacBookPro18,1 (M1 Pro) and MacBookPro18,2 (M1 Max).

Application Processor

This model of the MacBook Pro uses the M1 Pro or M1 Max SoC, depending on the configuration.
