M7

Motion coprocessor marketed by Apple as M7 and codenamed "Oscar" which is built into the iPhone 5s, iPad mini 2 and iPad Air. It is used by apps that access motion data while the device is sleeping (such as Nike+ Move), allowing the main CPU to go to sleep and therefore conserve battery life.
