M7

Motion coprocessor marketed by Apple as M7 and codenamed "Oscar" which is built into the iPhone 5s, iPad mini 2G and iPad Air. It is used by apps that access motion data while the device is sleeping (such as Nike+ Move), allowing the main CPU to go to sleep and therefore conserve battery life.
