iREB [iTunes Restore Error Bypasser]

A program created by iH8sn0w, that is used for s5l8900x Devices, which include:

iPhone 2G
iPhone 3G
iPod Touch 1G

What is iREB?

iREB is an Application that is based off of iDevice and dfu-util. It uploads 3 pwned files, so that iTunes can accept custom IPSW firmware/Downgrade to lower Firmwares.

iBSS.MODEL.RELEASE.dfu
WTF.MODEL.RELEASE.dfu
WTF.s5l8900xall.RELEASE.dfu

iREB does NOT Jailbreak, it just disables iTunes' Ability to upload a patch to the ramdisk to block custom firmware made by PwnageTool.

Compatible Operating Systems:

Windows XP/Vista/7
Mac OS X 10.4/10.5/10.6
