DCP

DCP is the Display Coprocessor. Introduced in the A14 SoC, also present in M1.

Most of what is known about the DCP was reverse-engineered by the Asahi Linux project porting Linux to the M1 Macs. There is information about it in the Asahi Linux August progress report.
