It was initially released on 18 January, 2015 initially supporting 8.0-8.1.2. An updated version supporting 8.0-8.2 beta 2 was released on 23 Feburary 2015. As of 25 February 2015, it seems support was removed for the 8.2 betas. On 13 July, 2015, the tool was updated to version 2.0.0 to support 8.1.3-8.4.

On February 16, 2017, a new version was released as a repackage of [[yalu#yalu102|yalu]] to jailbreak iOS 10.0.1-10.2 [[semi-untethered jailbreak|semi-untethered]].

All devices capable of running [[iOS]] 8.0-8.4 except the [[List of Apple TVs|Apple TV]] and [[Apple Watch]] family, are supported.

For iOS 10.0.1-10.2, all 64-bit devices are supported except iPhone 7.

[https://twitter.com/taig_jailbreak/status/616030331573944321 TaiG proved] that 25PP stole their entire exploit chain and merely "rewrote" their whole jailbreak for iOS 8.0 to 8.4. They repeated their actions with qwertyoruiop's yalu102 jailbreak, as they rebranded the iPA and made a windows tool to install it.

Tutorial:Mounting the Ramdisk of IPSW in Betas 4-7

First unzip your [[IPSW]], and take out the ramdisk file. It will be around 18MB. Then put it on your desktop.

Launch /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app

Then type the following:

cd Desktop
echo `hexdump -s12 -n4 -e '"%d\n"' ramdisk-should-just-be-a-bunch-of-numbers.dmg ` / 32 | bc

A number should appear. For example, in the case of beta 5, it would be 604800.

So you will type the following command now:

dd if=ramdisk-name-aka-a-bunch-of-numbers.dmg of=ramdiskb5.dmg bs=32 skip=1 count=**NUMBERS-GO-HERE** conv=sync

After this, you will have a file called ramdiskb5.dmg on your desktop. Just double click this file and it should mount fine.
Example: Beta 5 Ramdisk

(THIS IS WHERE I UNZIPPED MY IPSW. I was a bit sloppy and did it the quick but annoying way, and accidently deleted some letters. But my point is that this is a folder name. You'd probably be better off just unzipping the ramdisk to your desktop rather than to a folder)
