The Apple Watch Series 8 was first introduced at Apple's "Far out" keynote on 7 September 2022. Internally, the Apple Watch Series 8 is referred to as N197sAP (Watch6,14 - 41mm), N197bAP (Watch6,15 - 45mm), N198sAP (Watch6,16 - 41mm Cellular) or N198bAP (Watch6,17 - 45mm Cellular).

Application Processor

The Apple Watch Series 8 uses the same T8301 SoC as its predecessor, but rebranded as the Apple S8.
